Oof this is a tricky one...
It truly depends on a couple of things:
❓ Were there consequences to their cheating? If not, they may feel like they can continue to have their cake and eat it too.
❓ Were they in a vastly different phase of life when they cheated? Cheating in high school is different from cheating in your 30s!
❓ Have they done a lot of self work since then? Is so, maybe not!
In general though, anecdotally, I do see a lot of repeat offenders.
Especially if your relationship starts as an affair. I tend to subscribe to "if they'll do it with you, they'll do it to you"
