A toughie, but a goodie!
For breakups that have to do with deeper issues such as not wanting the same things, not feeling loved, infidelities, etc., it's a bit tricker for reconciliations to work.
Usually, there is at least one significant reason why the relationship shouldn't continue.
HOWEVER, there are some occasions where a couple comes back together after a longer period of time.
One of the reasons this could work is because of so much time passing. There has been growth and change for each party that has happened during the time apart—hello, Bennifer!
Some questions to ask yourself if you are thinking about trying to make your relationship work again...
What were the original reasons for the breakup?
How much time has passed?
What has REALLY changed?
I'll be honest with you. 9 times out of 10, getting back together is just delaying the inevitable. But, if there's been a chance for some inner work and evolution, it can be successful.
